Ford Mustang 2024 Price in Pakistan. With an updated but recognisable appearance, updated chassis hardware, an entirely new interior, and two better powertrains, Ford has released the seventh chapter of its legendary Mustang muscle vehicle. While the new pony has a slew of enhancements to prepare it for the future, the future of its closest rivals, the Chevy Camaro and Dodge Challenger, isn’t as bright.

The 5.0-liter V-8 engine that powers the new-generation automobile is still used, but it now produces 480 horsepower. The 2.3-litre EcoBoost with 315 horsepower is a small upgrade over the previous model. Only the V-8 is available with a six-speed manual gearbox as an option; both engines come standard with a 10-speed automatic. There are also hardtop coupe and soft-top convertible body styles. The Mustang’s revamped interior and stronger engine options continue the muscle car saga.

What’s New for 2024?
The seventh generation of the Mustang has begun. The Mustang now has some much-needed improvements thanks to the new look. A new lineup of options for individuals with a genuine need for speed has been included among its other design and powerplant upgrades. A Performance Pack equipment upgrade will be available as an option for both Mustang GT and EcoBoost versions. A front strut-tower brace, Torsen limited-slip differential, wider wheels and tyres, more powerful Brembo brakes, and a MagneRide active-dampening suspension are all included in the Performance Pack.
For those who value performance, optional Recaro buckets and an active exhaust are also offered. Furthermore, Ford sells a Performance Electronic Parking Brake that resembles a standard lever-action handbrake and is designed to make drifting the Mustang easier. The lineup now also includes a brand-new Mustang Dark Horse track-ready model with a more menacing 500-hp Coyote V-8 engine and access to the Ford Performance parts bin with leaner and meaner equipment modifications.

Engine, Transmission, and Performance:
The EcoBoost four-cylinder turbocharger is still the standard engine option for the Mustang, and the GT model comes with a V-8. Our hearts tell you to choose the V-8-powered GT with the six-speed manual gearbox even though your wallet would advise staying with the four-cylinder. Although the GT coupe costs over $10,000 more than a base four-cylinder, a GT Performance package may be added for about $5,000 more. This provides you with 19-inch wheels, substantial Brembo brakes, a 3.73-geared Torsen differential, and some cool exterior accessories.

Our quick test drive of the new Mustang led us to the conclusion that the steering feel and input could use some noticeable improvement. According to Ford, a performance exhaust is an option that boosts power to 486 horsepower and 481 pound-feet. A Mustang GT equipped with a performance exhaust system accelerated to 60 mph at our test track in 4.2 seconds, and the EcoBoost wasn’t far behind, clocking in at 4.5 seconds. The MagnaRide dampers absorb heaves and expansion joints in the pavement without interfering with activities in the cockpit. A track-focused step-up based on the GT, the brand-new Mustang Dark Horse variant has a 500-hp 5.0-liter V-8.
It basically represents a development of the gorgeous Mach 1 from the previous generation. The Dark Horse has a six-speed manual Tremec TR-3160 gearbox from the Mach 1 and retired Shelby GT350, as opposed to the MT-82 six-speed manual found in the GT.
The Dark Horse did not accelerate to 60 mph any quicker than the GT during testing; it did, however, hit 60 mph in 4.1 seconds, 100 mph in 9.7 seconds, and a quarter-mile in 12.5 seconds at 115 mph. The 19-inch Pirelli P Zero PZ4 tyres that come standard on the Dark Horse may be swapped out for sticker-sized Pirelli Trofeo RS tyres with the Ford Handling package. The Dark Horse will surely be faster than the GT even before our test crew straps its equipment to it.
Fuel Economy and Real-World MPG:
According to the EPA, the four-cylinder Mustang gets 22 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the interstate. For the sake of power, adding the optional Performance Package certainly reduces fuel economy a little bit, but not much (21 mpg city and 29 mpg highway).
The current Mustang’s V-8 still achieves the same EPA ratings of 15 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway (automatic gearbox). A six-speed manual Mustang GT gets 14 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the interstate. The 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse uses the least amount of petrol, only achieving 14 city mpg and 22 highway mpg. A GT variant with a six-speed manual returned 24 mpg on our highway fuel-economy test travelling at 75 mph.

Ford describes the 2024 Mustang’s interior design as “fighter-jet inspired,” and every feature can be seen from the driver’s seat. It turned out to be more pleasant than it sounds, and the seats were very supportive. While we wait to see if the performance of the Mustang will break the sound barrier, its standard 12.4-inch instrument cluster is a significant improvement over that of the preceding vehicle.
Infotainment and Connectivity:
The interior technology of the new Mustang is a significant area for improvement. Behind a curved glass panel, a 13.2-inch infotainment screen employing Ford’s Sync 4 software flows from the instrument cluster to the centre of the vehicle. This system has both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard features and a wireless smartphone charger provides additional convenience for drivers to lessen the mess of charging cords. Voice commands can take the place of turning knobs or pressing buttons thanks to Amazon Alexa and Ford Streaming, and every Mustang has Ford Power-Up software capabilities, which enables over-the-air updates for future software and vehicle function upgrades.
Features for Driver Assistance and Safety:
In order to move faster and feel safer, the Mustang is also available with more driver-assistance technology than any other pony car. Ford Co-Pilot360 comes standard on every Mustang. Visit the websites of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) to learn more about the results of the Mustang’s crash tests. Important safety elements include:
- Conventional adaptive cruise control
- Lane-keeping assistance and the common lane-departure warning
- Active pothole mitigation is an optional feature (part of the Performance Pack).
Coverage for Warranties and Maintenance
The warranty on the Mustang is good yet only average. Ford, in contrast to Chevy, does not offer a free planned maintenance visit.
- Three years or 36,000 miles are covered by the limited warranty.
- Five years or 60,000 miles are covered by the powertrain warranty.
- There is no free scheduled maintenance
