Lexus IS 2023 Price in Pakistan, Features, Specs. 2023 IS received an update, resulting in a sharper design. With a recently updated design, we anticipate that 2023 IS will have the same exterior design as the current model on the market. The current IS has a short front overhang and a stubby front end with Lexus’ massive spindle grille and angular headlights. The IS has a built-in rear spoiler, sharp taillights connected by a slim horizontal bar, and dual exhaust pipes at the back.
The current IS is showing its age on the inside. 2023 IS should retain the same overall design as a carryover model. The centre console is cluttered, with a bewildering number of buttons in odd places. The infotainment system sits atop the dashboard, with an analogue clock and two square vents directly beneath it. Lexus continues to include its touchpad system behind the shift knob in the IS. The IS’ configurable instrument cluster and push-start button on the dashboard are sporty touches. The redesigned Lexus IS 2023 is a five-seat crossover SUV that sits between the premium and luxury segments, much like the Acura MDX, Infiniti QX60, and Volvo XC60.

Inside, the predecessor’s tiered dash and multimedia mishmash give way to a more cohesive dash fronted by an available 14.0-inch touchscreen. The touch elements are supplemented by climate dials. The mechanical gear shifter in the console has been replaced by an electronic one. There is less clutter and more consistency. There are options for keyless entry, ambient lighting, a head-up display, and wood trim such as Ash Bamboo.
The current IS includes an eight-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, a 10-speaker audio system, two USB ports, Bluetooth, a CD player, satellite radio, and HD Radio. A 10.3-inch touchscreen, an eight-inch digital instrument cluster, a 17-speaker Mark Levinson audio system, and a digital keycard are among the available features. Because 2023 IS is expected to be a carryover model, these technological features should remain unchanged.
At launch, the full-time AWD system can split torque from front-wheel drive to a 40/60 ratio, allowing it to reach 60 mph in 5.9 seconds. Shifting out of first gear on the 6-speed automatic, on the other hand, can take a little longer than usual. The throttle response changes between Normal, Sport, and Custom modes, making Eco mode feel like stepping on a sponge, as does the electronic steering feel, which is light by default. AWD models with Trail mode use brake-based vectoring to control wheel slip and distribute torque to the rear wheels.

Exterior:
The IS is available with three different engines from Lexus. The same engines should be available in the Lexus IS 2023. Standard is a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with 241 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This engine is only available in rear-wheel drive configuration (RWD). A 3.5-litre V6 engine is an upgrade. It produces 260 horsepower in the IS 300 and 311 horsepower in the IS 350. Finally, there is a 5.0-litre V8 engine. It produces 472 horsepower and 395 pound-feet of torque and sends power to the rear wheels. RWD IS models have an eight-speed automatic transmission, while AWD models have a six-speed automatic.
The list of standard safety features on the IS is impressive. The following features are standard: automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, and adaptive cruise control. A surround-view parking camera and parking sensors are among the available safety features. These features are expected to remain unchanged for the 2023 model year. Lexus outfits 2023 IS with the company’s most advanced driver-assist systems, including automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, active lane control, and other options.
Interior:
2023 IS has been redesigned but not reimagined to meet the expectations of returning Lexus customers who value calm comfort over potent performance. Those accustomed to more expensive German luxury SUVs, on the other hand, will likely find the IS lacking in terms of driving dynamics and interior quality. Lexus, on the other hand, appears wary of significantly altering its original and popular formula. The performance hybrid uses the same 2.4-litre turbo-4 engine found in the IS 350, but it’s supplemented by a motor generator up front and a rear motor powering the rear axle for a total system output of 366 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque.
Nonetheless, with only 8.1 to 8.2 inches of ground clearance and soft on-road tyres, the Lexus IS shouldn’t be venturing too far off the beaten path. The IS 450h+, like the NX450h+ and Toyota RAV4 Prime, has an 18.1-kWh battery and a plug-in hybrid powertrain. The front wheels are powered by a 2.5-litre inline-4 and a two-motor system, with a dedicated motor at the rear axle for AWD. The EV mode was not as quick off the line as other PHEVs, but the transition between gas and electric power was seamless. It’s extremely quiet. It will be released in the United States at a later date.
