With a recently updated design, we anticipate that 2023 IS will have the same exterior design as the current model on the market. The current IS has a short front overhang and a stubby front end with Lexus’ massive spindle grille and angular headlights. There are options for keyless entry, ambient lighting, a head-up display, and wood trim such as Ash Bamboo.

The current IS includes an eight-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, a 10-speaker audio system, two USB ports, Bluetooth, a CD player, satellite radio, and HD Radio. A 10.3-inch touchscreen, an eight-inch digital instrument cluster, a 17-speaker Mark Levinson audio system, and a digital keycard are among the available features. Because 2023 IS is expected to be a carryover model, these technological features should remain unchanged.

Exterior:

The IS is available with three different engines from Lexus. The same engines should be available in the Lexus IS 2023. Standard is a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with 241 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This engine is only available in rear-wheel drive configuration (RWD). A 3.5-litre V6 engine is an upgrade. It produces 260 horsepower in the IS 300 and 311 horsepower in the IS 350. Finally, there is a 5.0-litre V8 engine. It produces 472 horsepower and 395 pound-feet of torque and sends power to the rear wheels. RWD IS models have an eight-speed automatic transmission, while AWD models have a six-speed automatic.
