Interior:
As previously stated, the latest UX update includes a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which replaces the previous 10.3-inch unit. The new infotainment system now supports wireless Apple CarPlay, though Android Auto requires a plug-in.
DAB+ digital radio, satellite navigation, and an “expanded” 10-speaker system replace the previous eight-speaker system found in the Luxury and F Sport grades. Customers can now use a voice command feature that, when activated by the phrase “Hey Lexus,” can perform tasks such as changing the radio station or automatically lowering the windows.
Lexus now provides a complimentary three-year subscription to Lexus Connected Services via an inbuilt Data Communication Module (DCM). This connected services system provides cloud-based connected navigation with live traffic, automatic collision notification, SOS emergency calling, stolen vehicle tracking, recent trip information, and other features. For the 2023 model year, exterior changes include a new sharkfin antenna across the board and body-coloured wheel arch cladding on F Sport models.

According to Lexus, F Sport models also get a new steering brace, which, along with the standard Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) system and rear performance dampers, “quickly absorb body flex and minor vibrations to further sharpen handling and improve overall ride comfort and quietness.” In addition to the technical advancements made with the F Sport, all UX models now have 20 additional spot-welding points on the body for increased stiffness, which is said to improve road-holding and driver feedback.
Lexus also claims that the UX’s electric power steering system and shock absorbers have been retuned “to help provide a seamless transition between braking, steering, and acceleration through bends and on a variety of road surfaces.”
