Mazda CX-90 2024 Price in Pakistan. Our team has always loved Mazda’s soon-to-be-discontinued CX-9 crossover, but the larger, more upscale 2024 CX-90 three-row SUV is expected to push the brand’s largest SUV even higher up the luxury scale. A new 3.3-liter inline-six turbocharged engine producing 280 or 340 horsepower and a plug-in hybrid powertrain option (evaluated separately) are standard on the CX-90.
Here, Mazda’s premium ambitions are visible, as the top-of-the-line models of the three-row, eight-seater provide more upscale amenities than the company’s existing SUV lineup. The CX-90 has an elegant style and a cabin that draws inspiration from the MX-30 and CX-50, two smaller SUVs. The CX-70, a two-row SUV, is anticipated to be released soon after the CX-90 and will be constructed on the same revolutionary architecture as the CX-90.

Engine, Transmission, and Performance:
The CX-90 is the first Mazda to combine a new 48-volt hybrid system in addition to a 3.3-liter turbocharged inline-six engine. According to Mazda, the engine can produce 280 horsepower in non-S trims and 340 horsepower in S variants. SUVs like the BMW X5 and the Land Rover Range Rover Sport are known for their inline-six-cylinder engines, indicating Mazda’s intention to push its brand even further towards the luxury end of the market. T
here’s also a plug-in hybrid version available, which uses the same 323 horsepower configuration as the CX-60 SUV sold in Europe; however, we cover that model separately. An eight-speed automatic gearbox is standard on all versions, and the CX-90 shares all-wheel drive with the rest of the Mazda SUV range. We experienced the top-spec S variant on our first test drive, which provided adequate power for driving on both city and highway roads.
The 340-hp inline-six is especially smooth, but we preferred to let the eight-speed automatic shift on its own because the paddle shifters located on the steering wheel were sluggish. The CX-90 with the inline-six engine reached 60 mph in 6.3 seconds at our test track, but it also made some crude noises that didn’t go well with the engine’s otherwise smooth running characteristics. Nevertheless, it provided the agility that Mazdas are renowned for together with elegant driving manners.
Interior, Comfort, and Cargo:
In keeping with its luxurious look, Mazda has given the CX-90 a chic interior with space for up to eight people. If you choose the captain’s chairs in the second row, there will only be seven seats available. The premium models have stunning cloth dashboard upholstery, and the seats in those trims are likewise covered in plush Nappa leather.

Although less luxurious, Base Select trims are nonetheless elegantly fashioned. The more expensive and luxurious-looking Nappa leather upholstery is only available on Premium Plus trims, even though leather is standard starting on the Preferred trim.
Safety Features:
The i-Activsense suite of driver-assistance technologies, which includes automated emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and other functions, is standard equipment on all CX-90 vehicles. Visit the websites of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) for additional details regarding the CX-90’s crash test results. Crucial safety components include:
- Typical automated emergency braking that detects pedestrians
- Typical blind-spot observation
- Adaptive cruise control standard
Fuel Economy:
The CX-90 has an EPA rating of up to 24 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. The CX-90 scored 29 mpg on our highway fuel economy route at 75 mph.
Infotainment and Connectivity
Nestled into the dashboard, a 10.3-inch or bigger 12.3-inch infotainment display is operated by a click wheel located on the centre console of the CX-90. The most recent infotainment system from Mazda is reasonably logical and simple to use. Both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard features, and we anticipate wireless connectivity for both. Eight speakers make up the radio system and a 7.0-inch digital gauge display is seen on the base trim levels of the CX-90. Both a bigger 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a 12-speaker Bose premium stereo are available as options.
Coverage for Maintenance and Warranty
Buyers of new CX-90s can purchase a sufficient protection plan from Mazda. What it lacks is free scheduled maintenance, which the Toyota Highlander and the Hyundai Palisade both provide.
- The three-year or three6,000-mile limited warranty
- Five years or 60,000 miles are covered by the powertrain warranty.
- Not included in the free scheduled maintenance
