MG4 EV Excite Vs. Essence. MG Pakistan officially presented its new MG4 EV in two models, Excite and Essence, yesterday. The automobile was unveiled at MG dealerships across the country, with a large crowd in attendance. We have previously published the key specifications and features, as well as the price and exclusive photographs of this new electric vehicle, and now we will emphasise the differences between these two variations so that customers can make an informed decision when purchasing one of them.

Price
The first difference is pricing, with Excite costing Rs. 10,999,000 and Essence costing Rs. 12,990,000, implying an almost Rs. 2 million price difference, which is not surprising given that Essence is the premium edition with numerous extra features and options.
Performance
Then there’s the big one: the performance of various versions. The battery capacity of the MG4 Excite is 51kWh, compared to 64kWh in the Essence. Meanwhile, the maximum power of the base variant is 125kW, while the top variant has 150kW. Furthermore, the Excite has a range of 350 kilometres per charge, compared to 435 kilometres per charge for the Essence.
Last but not least, the top variant accelerates from 0 to 100 in 7.2 seconds, compared to 7.7 seconds for the standard variant.
Size of Tyres and Alloy Wheels:
Excite has 215/50/R17 alloy wheels, while Essence has 235/45/R18, indicating that the top variant has a larger tyre.
Safety Features:
Although both variants have 6 airbags, ABS, Emergency Stability Programme (ESP, Hill Start Assist, Auto Hold, Automatic Door Locking in an accident, rear sensors, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, reverse camera, and Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), the top variant has some extra safety features, such as:
