The “Geely Binyue” or “Geely Coolray” is a B-segment crossover that is essentially a rebadged Geely automobile. The Proton X50 SUV debuted in Malaysia in October 2020, and it has since grabbed the Malaysian market by storm. Proton delivered almost 11,000 X50s between October 2020 and March 2022, and it is still struggling to meet local demand.
The car comes in four different versions around the world: Standard, Executive, Premium, and Flagship. Proton is aiming to launch this car in Pakistan, according to a Malaysian news outlet. The Proton X50 shares a lot of similarities with the X70. The Proton distinctive endless weave grille, LED projector headlights and LED DRLs are all present on the front. Proton badging is on the metal trim on the back, and LED taillights are higher up on the body panels than on the X70. The Flagship model has a black roof and 18-inch alloy wheels, while the rest of the series has 17-inch wheels.

The inside of the X50, like the exterior, is influenced by the X70. The interior highlights of the Flagship model include leather seats, a metallic touch dashboard, a 7″ fully digital instrument cluster, a 10.25″ touchscreen infotainment system, squarish air vents, a magnificent temperature control system, and a panoramic sunroof.
