Toyota Camry 2023 Price in Pakistan, Features, Specs

Toyota Camry 2023 Price in PakistanThe Camry is the cornerstone of the midsize sedan market, which has been losing both new entrants and sales as the world has embraced SUVs. Despite market changes, the Camry has remained the best-selling passenger car, a position it has held for the past 20 years at the top of the sales charts.

It has a well-deserved reputation for dependability and offers a hybridised version with exceptional fuel efficiency. The current Camry generation is stylish, particularly when equipped with the sporty-looking TRD trim or the Nightshade package, which adds bronze wheels for 2023.

Exterior:

Although the eight-speed automatic transmission and standard four-cylinder engine are smooth, the engine’s acceleration is lacking. The Camry hybrid is powered by a less powerful version of that engine, as well as a battery and two electric motors, but it’s no more fun to drive than the base engine.

Toyota Camry 2023 Price

The 301-hp V-6 engine, which is available on the XLE, XSE, and TRD models as well as the variant, is the real highlight of this lineup. We’re also happy to report that we no longer despise driving the Camry. It handles surprisingly well and rides smoothly. The steering has a pleasing weight to it when cornering, and it feels light when navigating parking lots.

Interior:

We drove the Camry in both its top-tier XLE and more affordable SE trim levels. Both are spacious and comfortable, but the XLE is downright opulent. However, the material quality varies significantly between the less expensive and more expensive models, and the dashboard’s central section turned some of us off with its uninspired design.

toyota camry 2023 interior

The Toyota Camry is a large sedan with plenty of interior storage space, both in the cabin and in the trunk when the back seat is folded. It is not the best in every storage category, but it is highly competitive overall. Toyota relocated the battery of the Camry hybrid from the trunk to beneath the back seats so that the hybrid owner would not have to sacrifice cargo space in exchange for better gas mileage.

Engine, Transmission, and Performance:

The standard four-cylinder engine is paired with a smooth eight-speed automatic transmission, but acceleration figures are disappointing. The Camry hybrid is powered by a less powerful version of that engine, a battery, and two electric motors, and it is no more exciting to drive than the base powertrain. The velvety 301-hp V-6 engine available on the XLE and XSE models, as well as the TRD variant, is the real highlight of this lineup.

We’re also pleased to report that we no longer despise driving the Camry. It has a smooth ride and surprisingly agile handling. When cornering, the steering is pleasantly weighted and feels substantial, but light when manoeuvring in parking lots. Even in the hybrid, where friction must be combined with regenerative braking (where the energy from braking is used to recharge the hybrid’s battery pack), we found the Camry’s brake pedal to be responsive and not too soft.

Fuel Economy and Real-World MPG:

The entire Camry lineup performed admirably in EPA tests, and a four-cylinder model performed admirably in our real-world highway testing. The most fuel-efficient nonhybrid Camry models are the LE and SE with four-cylinder engines, which get 28 mpg city and 39 mpg highway, while the base LE hybrid gets 51 mpg city and 53 mpg highway.

However, the hybrid’s upper trims sacrifice some efficiency for luxury, with models powered by the V-6 earning 22 mpg city and up to 33 mpg highway. In our highway test, a four-cylinder Camry SE returned 45 mpg, beating its own EPA rating by 6 mpg and becoming the most economical non-hybrid car we’ve ever tested. It even outperformed the Camry XLE hybrid we tested by one MPG.

Comfort, and Cargo:

We drove the Camry in both its top-tier XLE trim and its more modest SE trim. Both are roomy and comfortable, with the XLE being downright luxurious. However, there is a significant difference in material quality between the entry-level models and the more expensive versions, and the uninspired design of the centre section of the dashboard left some of us cold.

The Camry is a large sedan with plenty of cargo space and interior storage in both the trunk and the cabin when the back seat is folded. It’s not the best in every storage category, but it’s very competitive overall. Toyota relocated the Camry hybrid’s battery from the trunk to beneath the rear seats, allowing hybrid owners to gain mpg without sacrificing carrying capacity.

Connectivity and infotainment:

Toyota’s Entune 3.0 touchscreen infotainment system is standard across the Camry lineup, with an enhanced version available as an option. Entune has a tonne of features and responded reasonably well to user inputs in our tests, and it supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Safety Features:

Toyota’s decision to make driver-assistance technology standard on all Camry models remains laudable. Visit the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) websites for more information on the Camry’s crash-test results. The following are important safety features:

  • Forward collision warning and automated emergency braking are standard features.
  • Lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assistance are standard.
  • Adaptive cruise control as standard

Warranty and Maintenance Coverage:

While competitors in this class, such as the Hyundai Sonata and the Kia Optima, have longer warranty periods, Toyota holds its own with two years of complimentary scheduled maintenance.

  • Three years or 36,000 miles is the length of the limited warranty.
  • The powertrain warranty is valid for five years or 60,000 miles.
  • Free maintenance is provided for two years or 25,000 miles.
