Volkswagen wants to combine the ID. GTI Concept’s electric capabilities with the iconic 48-year legacy of the GTI. Its striking red appearance was inspired by the previously unveiled VW ID. 2all Concept, which explains why it seems so familiar. The ID. GTI features more aggressive front and rear fascias, an eye-catching black and red colour scheme, and wheels that harken back to the original Mk1 GTI. It embodies the spirit of the renowned hot hatch thanks to darkened taillights, a svelte rear wing, and GTI branding everywhere.

Once inside, you’ll discover a flawless fusion of contemporary technology and classic design. The ID. GTI Concept retains the digital cabin with twin screens from the ID. 2, but you may add a retro touch by selecting vintage gauge displays.


Additionally, a heads-up display with augmented reality projected the course layout into the lower corner of the windscreen while you’re on a renowned track like the Nürburgring. Through this immersive display, passengers may also monitor lap times.
Exciting Volkswagen ID. GTI Future:
Volkswagen says the ID. GTI Concept will go into production and isn’t just a concept car. Volkswagen emphasises that this electrified hot hatch will remain practical, comfortably seating five passengers and providing 17.3 cubic feet of cargo space, even though information regarding the production model’s delivery date is yet unknown.
